Earth Light

Earth Light is a new collection by Nina Brooke, marking a significant evolution in her practice towards a more minimalist aesthetic. As always, nature remains a central influence, but here the approach is deliberately pared back. Muted colours and undefined forms emerge, creating space for a more intuitive exploration of shape, tone and the narratives that emerge between them.

Rooted in feeling and memory, this body of work is less concerned with literal representation and more with the emotional resonance of a place, a moment or an experience. Each piece begins with an internal response, shaped by observation,

recollection and the subtle impressions that linger long after an encounter with a place or experience.

For Nina, Earth Light represents a step out of her comfort zone. Spontaneous, gestural marks meet a restrained, neutral palette to create work that feels light and more open. The result is a fresh and deeply personal collection — an exploration of life, love, landscape and everything in between.
